Bronte Fly Fishing School/Camp -
Intermediate Program
In 2001, a modified program was introduced for second year (and
onwards) returnees. It is also designed for those who have been
fishing for several years and would like to improve their basic
technique and gain increased knowledge by exchanging experiences
with their peers.
Some of the agenda items involve revision of casting from the
first year course but it also includes a number of trips to
other locations to put the techniques learned into practice. It
concentrates more on fishing time rather than group instruction.
Finally, attendees travel to places such as the Derwent River
below St Clair Lagoon to practice stream craft and also to
Little Pine Lagoon to practice lake techniques. The same
locations may not be used in coming years but the course will
follow similar lines.
